The bathroom with a bath or shower was just what I needed after a long day of biking. I could relax and soak in the tub to ease my tired muscles. It felt like a little spa retreat in the comfort of the room.

Personally, I preferred the bathroom with a bath rather than a shower. But hey, that's just my preference!

Comfortable apartment with easy parking. Well-equipped kitchen, heated well. Now offers WiFi via mobile-to-WiFi router. Good for walking in South-East of Peak District, either from house or short drive. Nearby pub.

Stayed in a holiday home that offered a garden and free private parking. Could enjoy cycling nearby. So thrilling.

Oh, how I adored the busy A515 road outside. The constant traffic noise was absolutely delightful.

had an amazing stay in hartington. number 4 villa was even better than before. big and comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen, and thoughtful touches like milk and cookies. a perfect base to explore the peaks. loved the donkeys and peacock. would definitely book again.

Busy road was a drawback. couldnt walk to the village pub at night, didnt feel safe on the 515.

The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Buxton and Ashbourne, and the staff treated us with warmth and hospitality.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

I stayed at Number 4 in the beautiful Peak District for a week. The location was fantastic, with easy parking right outside. The apartment was much more spacious than expected and had everything we needed in the well-equipped kitchen. The beds were amazingly large and comfy, and the milk and chocolate biscuits on arrival were a thoughtful touch. The area was perfect for country walks, and we enjoyed exploring nearby towns like Buxton and Ashbourne. Daily visits from the resident peacock and friendly chickens added to the charm of our stay.

    Can recommend this hotel.

The cottage was super cozy and had everything we needed. The beds were like sleeping on clouds and the kitchen had all the stuff for our late-night snacks. Plus, it's right by some sick cycling trails, so we had a blast riding around.

The only bummer was that the village was kinda chill, not really the place to party all night. It would've been lit if there was a nearby club or something for us party animals.

Lovely, cosy cottage. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen. Peaceful location, ideal for country walks. Convenient for visiting nearby towns. Friendly pub in the village. Maps of local walks provided. Quirky resident peacock and ducks. Thoughtful host, with milk and biscuits on arrival.

    None.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with a warm and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and had a delightful touch of elegance. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the hotel's accessibility. The staff ensured that there were no obstacles in the way, making it easy for me to navigate around the hotel without any trouble.

If I had one small request for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have a few more handrails installed throughout the hotel. This would provide extra support and stability, especially for those of us who may benefit from a little extra assistance.

The cottage was beautifully designed and well-equipped. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen and spacious rooms. The location was also great, as it was centrally located between Buxton and Ashbourne, making it easy to explore both towns. We also enjoyed the peaceful and homely atmosphere of the cottage, which added to our overall experience.

The poor internet signal. It was quite frustrating not being able to connect properly, especially when we needed to look up information or stay connected with friends and family.

Located on a busy road, but close to a peaceful village with a friendly pub. The cottage is cozy, with comfortable beds and everything needed for a comfortable stay. Great for country walks and exploring nearby areas. Lovely surprise to find ducks and a peacock outside the windows.

I got great value for my money at Number 4 Villa. The room was perfect - comfy beds, thoughtfully equipped kitchen, and everything was spotlessly clean. The location was ideal for exploring the beautiful Peak District, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

The only thing that could make the breakfast offerings better would be if they provided a menu from local pubs so guests could browse and make choices easily.
